Thrall is massive. Find the time, sit down, listen to the whole thing, then do it again. So heavy it desensitizes you. The dirt and grime become a part of the background and you are left with incredible melancholy.
Following 2017’s ‘Auburn Rule’ LP, London’s Wren have shifted gears towards a more absolute framework, crafting a singular track that stretches to almost 20 minutes, taking form as their latest EP entitled ‘Thrall’ - a newly measured exploration of the unit's more recent sonic meditations, functioning within a triptych composition.
'Thrall' explores the ebb and flow of the bands sound, radiating in diverse gradients between drone-based omens and astringent, inharmonious collisions.
